# 14. Randomization and Special Game Actions

## 14.1 Randomization

14.1.1 A random method must give each possible outcome an equal chance and be understandable to both players.

14.1.2 Cards selected randomly from a face-down group must first be mixed so their positions cannot be tracked.

14.1.3 A die with more faces than required may be used only if the outcomes are assigned evenly and rerolls or grouped ranges preserve equal probability.

## 14.2 Special Game Actions

14.2.1 Conceding, changing a Marking Token as the direct result of a control change, applying an expiration, and performing a required zone change are special game actions.

14.2.2 Special game actions do not use the Trigger Queue themselves, but events they cause may trigger Abilities.

14.2.3 No player may respond during a special game action. Complete it, perform State-Based Conditions, and then process triggers.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://momon-wonder.gitbook.io/comprehensive-rules-1.0.0/abilities-and-game-state/14-randomization-and-special-game-actions.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
