# 13. Keywords and Timing Headers

## 13.1 Incite

13.1.1 Incite instructs the target Momon to perform a new Snatch Check under [Section 10](/comprehensive-rules-1.0.0/game-flow/10-snatch-check-and-resolution.md).

13.1.2 Incite is not a Summon and does not create On Summon triggers.

13.1.3 A Snatch Check created by Incite does not create On Snatch Timing Header triggers. Control changes and any other Abilities that trigger from those changes may still trigger normally.

## 13.2 Ward

13.2.1 Ward means “This Momon cannot be Snatched.” A Momon with Ward cannot be Snatched by any Snatch Attempt. Under [Section 1.4](/comprehensive-rules-1.0.0/foundations/01-rules-authority-and-fundamental-principles.md), no Permission, Requirement, or Ability can bypass this Prohibition merely by stating or implying that it ignores, overrides, or is despite Ward.

13.2.2 When an effect grants Ward, identify the Momon’s Controller at the moment the effect is created. Ward lasts until the end of the next turn of that identified player’s opponent. The turn that is already in progress when the effect is created does not count as that next turn. If the Momon changes Controller while Ward is active, continue using the identified player and the expiration time fixed when the effect was created. This duration applies whether the effect states a duration or uses the Ward keyword without one. The effect is created once for that game object. If the Momon leaves the Arena, Ward ends under [rule 13.2.5](/comprehensive-rules-1.0.0/abilities-and-game-state/13-keywords-and-timing-headers.md); if it later returns, [Section 3.1.2](/comprehensive-rules-1.0.0/foundations/03-cards-objects-and-characteristics.md) makes it a new object and any new Ward effect is created anew.

13.2.3 When Ward is created on a Momon that does not have Ward, place one Ward Token on that Momon. A Momon has Ward while its Ward Token remains on it and the Ward effect has not expired.

13.2.4 If a Momon already has Ward, any attempt to grant Ward to that Momon has no effect. It does not create another Ward effect, place another Ward Token, reset the expiration time, or extend the existing Ward.

13.2.5 When a Ward effect expires, remove that Momon’s Ward Token and Ward ends. Ward also ends immediately if the Momon leaves the Arena or if its Ward Token is removed by any effect. A Ward Token cannot be moved to another Momon; an instruction that would move it has no effect on the token or Ward. If the Ward Token is lost or unavailable, use a clear substitute marker and continue to treat the Momon as having Ward until the effect expires or Ward otherwise ends.

## 13.3 Timing Headers

| **Header**                                    | **Meaning**                                                                                                                                                                                 |
| --------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| On Summon | Triggers when this card completes a Summon onto the Arena and receives its Marking Token. |
| On Snatch | Triggers after the current non-Incite Snatch Check if this Source successfully Snatched at least one enemy Momon under the stated conditions. It triggers once per qualifying Snatch Check. |
| When I am snatched back to my Owner’s control | Triggers when a successful Snatch changes this Momon’s Controller from the non-Owner to the Owner. |
| At the end of the turn | Triggers during Step 3 of the current turn. |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://momon-wonder.gitbook.io/comprehensive-rules-1.0.0/abilities-and-game-state/13-keywords-and-timing-headers.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
